You can use A252 reinforcement mesh in a single-layer or double-layer. As you might have guessed, double layers are even more robust than single layers. If you opt for a double layer, you need to tie the mesh together with wire to avoid displacement.
This mesh is only designed for slabs that have depths between 150mm and 200mm. Using A252 mesh in lesser or larger depths may result in your concrete slab cracking, deteriorating, and ultimately failing.
Once you have the right mesh fabric, you need to buy plastic gripper-grade plate spacers or other steel and concrete positioning structures. These positioning tools hold the mesh in place while the concrete dries.
