Fiskars Brands, Inc. (Fiskars) warrants your product against defects in materials and workmanship when purchased directly from Fiskars or a Fiskars authorized reseller. This warranty is extended only to the original end-user purchaser or giftee and shall not be extended to any other person or transferee.
The warranty is valid from the date of retail purchase for as long as the original end-user purchaser or giftee owns the product (the Warranty Period).
What is NOT Covered:
This warranty does not cover defects or damage arising from improper use or maintenance, normal wear and tear, sharpening, accident, environmental factors, improper storage, or external causes. Unauthorized repair, modification or customization of your product voids this warranty. This warranty does not cover any parts, accessories, or consumables, including spare blades and replaceable attachments. This warranty does not cover products purchased from unauthorized resellers.
What Fiskars will do:
In the case of a covered warranty defect, Fiskars will, at its option: (A) repair the product using new or refurbished parts; (B) replace the product with an equivalent new or refurbished product; or (C) provide a partial or full refund of the original purchase price to you in exchange for return of the product.
How to Submit a Claim:
For warranty service on covered defects during the warranty period, please complete and submit the form located at: Fiskars Warranty Claim.
Prior to providing warranty service, Fiskars may require you to provide proof of purchase details, including, but not limited to, a receipt or sales invoice, product photos, and to ship the product back to Fiskars facility at your cost. You must retain and not throw away or destroy the product or any parts of the product until your claim has been submitted, processed, and approved.
This limited warranty gives you specific rights that are in addition to other rights you may have under applicable laws, including your rights against the person who sold the Fiskars product to you. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOWEVER, THIS WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY PROVIDED BY FISKARS. FISKARS DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALIFY, FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT), AND FISKARS LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE.

The 4th and 5th generation of Fiskars X-series axes (4th gen. officially launched 1.8.) has been crafted by using advanced technical manufacturing and materials. Our products are tested and perform excellently for the activities and environments they were created for. Sometimes no matter how careful we are errors may occur in the manufacturing process. To assure that our customers will have the best possible usage experience we claim 25 Year international Limited Warranty on the manufacturing defect of the Fiskars 4th and 5th generation X-series axes.
This warranty is valid exclusively in the Territory of European Union, Australia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Norway, New Zealand, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine.
The following conditions apply to the Warranty:
This warranty is only valid via web registration (www.fiskars.eu/warranty) of the product within thirty (30) days after the purchase.
Warranty does not apply when products are used to other purposes than that theyre originally intended for and when products are used for commercial/professional or hire purposes.
Warranty does not cover products that have been subjected to repairs or repair attempts not authorized by Fiskars.

If you find fault with the workmanship or materials of your Fiskars 4th generation axe product, you should submit the product and a warranty claim to the store from where you have bought the item. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing within thirty (30) days from the time the defect is or should have been discovered. The claim must include the owners name, address and number, proof and date of the purchase, nature of the defect and the date when it was first discovered. The product may also be returned by regular mail to the store the item is bought from.
Approval of the return is at the sole discretion of Fiskars. If approved the product will be repaired or replaced by a similar product solely discretional upon Fiskars. In the case of discontinued models, the faulty item will be replaced with the most similar model from the current range.
Fiskars is not liable for incidental, indirect, special or consequential damages, including without limitation, damage to, or loss of use of, any equipment, lost sales or profits or delay or failure to perform this Warranty obligation.
This Warranty provided by the manufacturer is additional to and has no effect on warranties provided by the reseller nor does it restrict or replace any legal warranties that a Customer might be entitled to pursuant to the national legislation.
The replacement or repair of the product shall not extend the term of the original warranty.
