Glass Resistor Overview

I previously discussed my Apex radio, which was thought to be custom-built. Despite mixed feedback, I appreciate its unique qualities. The grid leak resistor, encased in a glass tube with metal ends, has a label indicating it should be 3 meg ohms, though it currently tests at 7 meg. According to my tube manual, the 01a tube's grid leak resistor should ideally range between 2-5 meg ohms. While I've replaced it with the correct value, I'm now seeking an original-style replacement. Any recommendations on where I might find such a resistor?
