Acrylic Block Stamping for Card Making Backgrounds

Have you ever tried acrylic block stamping to create unique backgrounds with Stampin' Write water-based markers? It's a fun technique, and the results are always unpredictable. Each card you make will turn out differently using this method. Remember, it's just cardstock, so if you make a mistake, it's not a big deal!

For more information, please visit our website.

Gather your acrylic blocks, some markers, and Shimmery White cardstock—it's time to get creative! Important tips to note: use STAMPIN' WRITE MARKERS and not the Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers. Also, the Shimmery White cardstock works better than Basic White as it absorbs water more effectively.

Acrylic Block Stamping Video Tutorial

In the video, my daughter Jesi and I team up to demonstrate various examples of this stamping technique. Although the technique remains the same, experimenting with different color combinations is key. You'll need to discover your ‘magic touch’ regarding the amount of water to use.
