Redispersible Polymer Powder (RDP) is a spray-dried redispersible emulsion latex powder for the construction industry. It enhances dry mortar blends, redisperse in water, and reacts with cement/gypsum to form a composite membrane with good mechanical intensity.
RDP improves dry mortars' application properties including longer opening time, better adhesion on difficult substrates, lower water consumption, and improved abrasion and impact resistance.
Post-spray drying, VAE emulsion transforms into a free-flowing white powder, a copolymer of ethyl and vinyl acetate. This powder is easy to emulsify and forms a stable emulsion when dispersed in water. It is convenient for handling and storage and can be mixed with cement, sand, and other aggregates.
RDP dissolves in water easily, forming a stable emulsion and improving the properties of dry mortars, such as longer opening time and better adhesion.
Protective colloid: Polyvinyl alcohol
Additives: Mineral anti-block agents

RDP can enhance adhesion, flexural strength, abrasion resistance, and deformability. It improves rheology and water retention and increases the sag resistance of tile adhesives, resulting in tile adhesives with excellent non-slump properties and high-quality putty.
RDP does not affect rheological properties and is a low-emission general-purpose powder suitable for formulating high-strength compounds.
